दिल की बातें कौन जाने,

मेरे हालात को कौन जाने,

बस बारिश का मौसम है,

पर दिल की ख्वाहिश कौन जाने,

मेरी प्यास का एहसास कौन जाने?

कम से कम अपनी जुल्फे तो बाँध लिया करो।

कमबख्त. बेवजह मौसम बदल दिया करते हैं।।

जो आना चाहो हज़ारों रास्ते 

न आना चाहो तो हज़ारों बहाने। 

मिज़ाज-ऐ-बरहम , मुश्किल रास्ता 

बरसती बारिश और ख़राब मौसम।।
